nido is closing shop

Yes, yes, it is true, nido is coming to an end.
After having the opportunity to potentially move and expand nido, I came to a pivotal
point in my life and am choosing to go for the unexpected. It is not an easy choice to close the shop, but once I made the decision, everything fell into place. Everything felt right.

I opened the shop in 2009 with hopes to create a crafting community, looking for friends, inspiration and a beautiful space to foster the explosion of modern craft. In the 8+ years that nido has been open, I have met my closest friends, allies, modern crafting gurus and have been a part of something truly spectacular. I thank each and every one of you who have been on this journey with me. It has been the vibrant influence of all of you that has made nido exactly the space in which I envisioned it to be. I am sad to let go of the community that we have created together, but am excited to continue to chase dreams.

Phiona_2009I ask that all of you continue to support nido as we close down the shop. We are stocked with all of the beautiful yarns, fabrics, books and notions that have helped to make our modern community thrive.

nido’s sewing machines, sample knits, sample sews, tables, antiques, fixtures, baskets, boxes etc. will also be for sale, so please pop by early to enjoy first picks.

The store will be closed Wednesday-Friday September 13th-15th to prep for the sale.

Come say hello, say goodbye and enjoy 20% – 40% off storewide starting this  Saturday, September 16th from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you!
