Calling ALL quilters!
The Montreal + Vermont Modern Quilt Guilds are collecting house blocks to create quilts for those affected by this week’s tragic events in Québec City.
We hope these quilts will send comfort to recipients + support in their time of need.
nido will be a drop-off location for these blocks through February 11th when they will be sent up to Montreal to be made into quilts. Project information + patterns can be found here.
Let’s pull together to show love + support for our neighbors to the north.
Visit nido today, Saturday, January 28th to celebrate Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day! We appreciate your business and want to thank you for supporting us at our brick and mortar shop. Enjoy:
20% off Fat Quarter Bundles
$8.95/yard Quilting Cottons in-store + online
and a FREE nido tote with in-store fabric purchases of $75+
Thank you for supporting nido as your local quilt shop!
nido welcomes the Home & Away trunk show to the shop this month!
This collection from Hannah Fettig features nine versatile patterns, designed for knitters of all skill levels. We love the beautifully designed, wearable sweaters featuring Quince & Co. yarns Osprey, Lark, and Chickadee.

We are thrilled to announce that fiber enthusiasts Jennie and Devon from the Handmade and Woolen Podcast, will be joining us on Sunday, March 19th from 10:00 am – noon.
Join nido as we continue to make connections between fiber farmers, spinners, natural dyers and local purveyors in our Vermont community with the next guest in our Spinning Tales with Vermont Fiber Folk series.
Jennie and Devon Johnson are two Vermont-based makers invested in the fiber community. They are the hosts of Handmade and Woolen, a YouTube channel about creating a handmade wardrobe and exploring all things woolly. Additionally, Devon is a co-editor of Rib Magazine, a knitting publication for men and those who knit for them.
Mark your calendars for a morning of fiber chats through the perspectives of these talented two makers!
$5 event ticket available by cash at the door. Ticket includes a breakfast treat + coffee.
