The shops all around me are starting to close up early for the upcoming holiday & FINALLY it has hit me that tomorrow marks the beginning of a whirlwind of many family & friend get togethers, handmade holiday exchanges & delicious over the top meals at my house! I am very thankful to be surrounded by such loyal friends & family, at the success of my little shop & the love I feel everyday from my boys–I am one lucky woman.
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
And do not forget–Friday nido is offering a FREE fat quarter bundle of coordinating fabrics to our customers who spend $50 or more. That’s 1.5 yards of FREE fabric!
Offer applies to both our Burlington & online customers.
Don’t miss out!
I came across the cutest holiday cards in the latest Paper Source catalog & thought to myself–you could totally make these out of fabric. Sure enough–you can! Using fabric scraps, buttons and some nice card stock you can stitch up one of a kind holiday cards that are sure to make the mantel!
Low on fabric scraps of your own–no problem, nido has studio scrap bags that are full of designer fabric pieces that will inspire you to get crafting!
Anna Maria Horner released a home decor & voile collection to accompany her Innocent Crush quilting cottons. Both are 55″ wide & boost her usual colorful pallet. Because we can never resist the designs of Anna Maria Horner–nido carries the entire collection of both the home dec weight & voile!
Haven’t gotten enough yet? Well, stay tuned because still to arrive is Innocent Crush Velveteen!

nido’s stash of Etsuko Furuya’s Echino Fall 2010 fabric arrived at the shop a few days ago & it does not disappoint! The fabric itself is a cotton/linen blend which lends itself well to an all around all purpose fabric. There are 5 new prints, each in 4 different colorways & we have them ALL! Here are a few of our favorites…
Wild Forest in Mint
Woodcut Flowers in Eggplant
Patchwork in Autumn
Bird Stripe in Green
