Join us every Thursday this winter as we highlight some of our favorite collections & offer them up at amazingly low prices! This week nido is offering Nani Iro at just $14/yard!
This offer is good at both our Burlington & online shops and runs through Wednesday February 2nd.
These little beauties were made for Franco out of Cherrytree Hill supersock select. Aren’t they just adorable? The yarn is spun in the Green Mountains of Vermont, is a fingering weight, low micron, superwash Merino characterized by the signature high twist, which means no need for adding nylon. Supersock select yarn is soft, durable & designed for knitting socks but can be used for other projects such as hats, mittens, scarves & shawls. nido carries a variety of solid & semisolid handpainted colorways both online & in our Burlington shop.
Just thought all you knitters may need a little inspiration for that next project of yours!
Perhaps it is too late to post about my Weekend Sewing project lead by Denyse Schmidt BUT I finally finished the quilted mini zipper pouch & am excited about sharing it! I was thrilled to be invited to stop by the workshop & meet fellow sewing enthusiasts so I (unfortunately) talked my way through the tutorial at the actual event. Naturally the half finished project ended up in the “to do” pile which, lets face it, grows exponentially bigger every month! After a little rearranging of my studio space I found the purse project & finished it. It only took a few moments & it is so adorable!
Just wanted to share…even though it’s a little late.
With the New Year now in full swing, we are making room for our newest fabric collections–which mean HUGE markdowns! Anna Maria Horner’s Goodfolks is now only $7.00-$7.50 per yard, Amy Butler’s Soul Blossom & David Walker’s Boys Will Be Boys just $8.00 per yard AND Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane just $7.00 a yard!
Sale is also running online so hurry in–with deals like these our stash is bound to go fast!
Hope you are all enjoying your new year! Perhaps a little down time now that the holiday season has come to an end. I don’t know about you, but this little merry maker is a little sewn out for the time being! So, I am off to the cabin to spend a few days with my family. Read, eat good food, frolic in the snow–make wreaths with Franco. Making winter ice wreaths has been a favorite pastime of ours lately. The idea came from Jean over at the Artful Parent. Her blog is full of wonderful crafting ideas for you & your little ones–LOVE it!
See you all next week!
