The Marianne is a casual knit dress with a figure skimming silhouette, above the knee length, round neckline with binding, and either 3/4 length or kimono cap sleeves. Techniques include adjusting machine settings to sew with knit fabric, hemming, applying interfacing and clear elastic on shoulder seams and creating contrast cuffs with decorative button detail. Participants should have basic sewing knowledge and machine skills or have taken Learn to Sew I.
